I started using this pumpkin seed oil about a year and a half ago after experiencing horrible eczema on my neck that wouldn’t go away without using steroid cream. I had previously used steroid cream there and it ended up thinning my skin. I finally figured out what was causing the eczema, but needed something to heal my skin. Enter pumpkin seed oil. After doing research, I read about pumpkin seed oil and gave it a try. I wanted something organic and I found this brand, Leven Rose. Within a week, my eczema was healing and my skin was better than it had been in probably a couple of years. I started using it on my face, as well, as part of my skincare routine and I can’t say enough how much my skin loves this oil.The oil is very lightweight and seems to soak into my skin, if that’s even possible, helping to add moisture. I absolutely love it. Bonus is that, a) it smells absolutely amazing, not too strong at all, and b) this oil is super gentle and didn’t negatively affect my skin at all. I have the most sensitive skin on the planet, no joke, and I was so, so happy that this pumpkin seed oil didn’t give me a rash. Highly recommend this pumpkin seed oil!! I literally can’t say enough about how amazing it is :)

Amazing Scalp Oil but Wish the Bottle Size was Bigger

I have been oiling my scalp for many years and haven't been able to find the right scalp oil for me. My scalp is very sensitive and flaky, so I have to be careful about the products/ingredients I use to not make the problem worse. Most scalp oils I've looked at either use filler oils (ex. coconut oil or soybean oil) or a ton of fragrance, both of which are unnecessary and irritating to my scalp. I decided to do some research to get just plain oils with no additives to use for oiling my scalp. I've ordered from this brand previously and really like the quality of their products and didn't hesitate to search through the selection to find a new oil for my hair. I decided to give pumpkin seed oil a try and it's made such a difference in how my scalp feels! The inflammation on my scalp has decreased significantly and it helps to soothe/reduce my flaky scalp. My only complaint is that the bottle size is quite small and if you have thick hair like me, then you will blow through this bottle after a few uses. Despite the bottle size, I still highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase it due to the amazing results I've been seeing!

Made me break out, but good for hair!

I had high hopes for this for my dry but sensitive skin, but it didn't work out for me. It worked wonderfully for moisturizing, and after applying it at night my skin was glowing in the morning. But even a small amount made me break out in a way that made my skin look rough and bumpy. It calmed down right away after I discontinued use, so I'd still say give it a shot and see if it works for you.I'm giving 3 stars because I decided to use it on my hair rather than return it, and it is good for that! Makes my thick and dry hair very shiny and smooth.

A nice surprise

I have not tried this oil before and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little thicker than the Jojoba oil I typically use and it is very good for helping sun tanned skin. It has a light smell of pumpkin that quickly diminishes. I think it's a fine moisturizer. For about two years, I have used Jojoba oil, and now also this pumpkin oil, on my face and the moisturizinng effect has been very positive. Black heads and occasional acne have long disapeared. I no longer need any of the lotions and potions found on the store shelves. If any area of my body gets dry skin, I apply pumpkin or Jojoba oil and the condition is cleared. Very good products and very consistent quality! Yes, I am a fan of this company and they earned the praise.

Definatly Fantastic! The Very Finest Pumpkin Seed Oil On The Market Today!!

My girlfriend and I recently added Leven Rose's Pumpkin Seed Oil to our lineup of oils we apply to each other nightly after our hot bath and cool shower (such fun!) and I must honestly say this oil is nothing short of fantastic! The oil itself is basically clear with just a bit of the usual yellow tint found in many organic seed oils. What impressed me most when we first applied it is the thickness and richness of this oil! It goes on like "liquid silk" in that it's similar in texture to the finest Moroccan Argan Oil. It leaves your skin "glowing" and even in the morning after our shower we can still see that "glow" in our skin without the need to apply more until the evening.. It's that good!! Like all of Leven Rose's organic oils, there's no additives or "filler" oils, just pure unrefined, organic oil.. It's nothing short of wonderful! We apply many oils nightly, such as Jojoba, Argan, Coconut, Fur Oil, Darshana Natural Indian Hair Oil, Leven Rose's Jojoba Vitamin E Oil (Vitamin E Serum) Leven Rose's Rosehip Seed Oil, VERB Ghost Oil, VERB Leave In Mist and others. We just added Leven's Rose's Carrot Seed Oil to our nightly line up of oils as well, as noted above. Remember to use this oil very sparingly, as just a little bit goes a very long way! This Pumpkin Seed Oil is the very finest on the market today, it just doesn't get any better than this!
